ARCHIVAL CONDITIONS
The archive is not a neutral source. Some documents were written by governments, priests, witnesses, enemies, or people attempting to survive what they recorded. Dates may conflict. Titles may change. Official accounts may omit what the city finds inconvenient.
Later files may revise earlier material as the setting develops.
